Shares of Britain’s FTSE 100 (^ FTSE) rose on Monday as Chinese oil demand lifted shares of major UK mining companies.
Rio Tinto (RIO.L), Anglo-American (AAL.L) and Fresnillo (FRES.L) were among the biggest increases in the London leading index as oil prices rose on Monday.
