Greek prime minister offers UK treasure in for return for ‘stolen’ Elgin Marbles

Greece’s prime minister has offered to lend the British Museum some of his country’s treasure in a bid to get the Elgin Marbles back where it came from.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis said the 2,500-year-old sculptures were ‘stolen’ from Athens and ‘belong in the Acropolis Museum’.
