Guar gum prices rise as demand picks up
NEW DELHI: Guar gum prices are up 30% from four months ago as demand picked up from the oil exploration industry in the United States, China and Russia and to the food processing sector in Europe.
The uneven distribution of rains in Rajasthan’s main planting area has also supported prices, exporters said.
