If you spot a bag of sweets like this in your Halloween haul, it’s best not to let your kids tuck in.
Otherwise, you risk the plot of a thousand films as they inadvertently space out from an unanticipated ingredient.
Police put out a warning about sweets with cartoons of the The Simpsons on the packet, which might look innocent enough if you ignored how bloodshot Ned, Marge and Krusty’s eyes were.
They intercepted dozens of these packs after employees at a Royal Mail delivery office in Oxfordshire
After sniffing an ‘interesting’ aroma, they called in officers who intercepted 99 packets of cannabis edibles, as well as two small plastic bags of cannabis.

Officers from Thames Valley Police said the haul was found at the depot in Wallingford, a town between Oxford and Reading.
They posted on Facebook: ‘CSOs intercepted a package at the Royal Mail delivery office in Wallingford that the employees there thought smelt … interesting.
‘The sweets packets depicts Simpsons’s characters who look to be under the influence of cannabis themselves, so are quite distinctive.
‘Since Halloween is around the corner, we wanted to share what these looked like in case for whatever reason your children come across these bright colored packets thinking they are regular sweets.
‘We urge you to check through your children’s Halloween hauls and also keep a general awareness about you for drugs in this form, not just during Halloween but also in general. Stay safe.’
The packets claim to contain five servings each of 500mg, in flavors such as sour apple, watermelon and forest fruit.
According to Essex Police, edibles can be stronger than smoked cannabis and may contain other harmful or illegal substances.
As their effects are delayed by up to two hours, it can be difficult to know if someone has ingested too much until it is too late.
Adverse effects can include drowsiness, confusion, vomiting, anxiety and panic attacks, hallucinations, psychotic episodes, paranoia, breathing difficulties and heart problems.
