Harry Redknapp’s Dorset mansion has been raided by masked robbers who stole his wife’s jewellery.
The former Premier League boss and wife Sandra, both 78, were out at the time of the break-in at their £5 million home in Sandbanks last Friday night.
The hammer-wielding thieves are understood to have made off with jewellery belonging to Sandra and other luxury items after smashing through the front door.
One theory detectives are said to be investigating is that the gang may have gone onto an online selling agents’ to scope the house’s floorplan before embarking on the raid.
A source told The Sun: ‘It was clearly organized. The raiders must have known the house was empty.’

They added: ‘The criminals would only have to keep watch on the property and break in once the coast was clear, knowing the full layout of the house in advance.’
Redknapp was reportedly at a function that evening, while his wife was in London.
A spokesman for the former Spurs, West Ham and Portsmouth manager said Harry doesn’t ‘want to make a fuss’ and that it is ‘a matter for the police’.
Dorset Police confirmed they are investigating a report of a burglary at an address in Poole.
No arrests have yet been made.
Sandbanks is the UK’s most expensive coastal area to buy a house, and the only one in the country where the average asking price tops £1 million.
It is known as a popular location for celebrities, with it array of upscale restaurants and glitzy nightlife.
The Redknapp’s current home is on sale while their new waterside villa at Sandbanks is finished, the Sun reports.
They have lived in several other properties in the area, and starred in ITV reality show Harry Redknapp’s Sandbanks Summer in 2020.
