Hull Trains back on track but ‘not out of the woods’
Storm Ellen subdued Hull Trains’ first day of operations in more than four months after a tree toppling onto overhead lines saw the initial King’s Cross return north cancelled.
The open access operator had finally got back on track after suspending the timetable shortly after lockdown was declared, with the first of the new fleet leaving Beverley at 7.53am this morning.
