An Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) shot and killed a woman driving during a protest against immigration raids in Minneapolis.

The unidentified victim had reportedly used her 4×4 to block agents from conducting a large-scale deportation operation with protesters nearby.

Video from the scene appears to show the car parked horizontally on the icy road.

Agents swarm her telling her to ‘get out of the f***ing car’ and as she appears to turn to drive away an officer in front fires three shots.

Department of Homeland Security spokesperson Tricia McLaughlinclaimed the ICE officer fired ‘defensive shots’ when ‘one of these violent rioters weaponised her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them—an act of domestic terrorism.’

But Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey rejected that version of events calling the excuse ‘bullsh**’

‘They are already trying to spin this as an action of self-defense. Having seen the video myself, I wanna tell everybody directly, that is bullsh**,’ the mayor said.

During the news conference hours after the ICE officer shot the woman, whose name hasn’t been released, an angry Frey blasted the federal immigration crackdown on the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul.

‘They are not here to cause safety in this city. What they are doing is not to provide safety in America. What they are doing is causing chaos and distrust,’ Frey said. ‘They’re ripping families apart.

‘They’re sowing chaos on our streets and in this case quite literally killing people.’

The shooting marks a dramatic escalation of the latest in a series of immigration enforcement operations in major American cities under the Trump administration. It’s at least the fifth person killed in a handful of states since 2024.

The twin cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul have been on edge since DHS announced Tuesday that it had launched the operation, with 2,000 agents and officers expected to participate in the crackdown tied in part to allegations of fraud involving Somali residents.
