Iran Shuts Down 1,100 Illegal Bitcoin Miners; Whistleblowers awarded $ 2,400 – bitcoin news
Iran’s electricity generation, distribution and transmission company (Tavanir) has reportedly shut down 1,100 illegal bitcoin mining farms in the country, local media reported.
Whistleblowers alerted authorities to unauthorized minors following an announcement in July of awards comprising 100 million rials (around $ 2,400).
