The UK is so hot that it’s possible to fry an egg inside your car.
Grandmother-of-eight Jill Hembury, 62, did a spot of cooking on her dashboard as temperatures hit 38°C on Monday.
She plans to cook a full breakfast of toast, salmon and scrambled eggs next time – but says she has to take precautions to protect them from hungry seagulls.
