With hit tracks like “Sweet Juice,” “Zombie,” “Nerdy” and “Ponzon,” each amassing over 10 million streams on Spotify, Purple Kiss has made a lasting mark in K-pop since their debut under RBW in 2020.
But after five years of captivating fans with their distinct sound and fierce artistry, the South Korean girl group is officially set to wrap up their activities in November 2025. Well, not without a final encore.
In an official statement, RBW confirmed the group’s upcoming disbandment, expressing regret over the decision while honoring the path the members have taken together.

“Because of the members’ deep affection for the group, we engaged in long and thoughtful discussions about how to move forward. As a result, we reached a conclusion based on mutual respect and support for each member’s individual dreams,” the agency stated.
Despite the bittersweet news, Purple Kiss is not bowing out quietly. The members are determined to make their final months memorable for fans, known as “PLORY.”
They are slated to drop their first-ever English-language album at the end of August.
Additionally, they will continue promotional activities in Japan and will embark on a final US tour before returning home for a farewell concert in South Korea.
RBW extended heartfelt gratitude, saying, “Every moment shone brightly because of the members who gave their all with passion and PLORY, who have always stood steadfastly by their side.”
Since their 2020 debut, Purple Kiss has been celebrated not just for their music but also for their creative control and genre-blending approach.
Their 2023 US tour solidified their global fandom, proving they had more to offer beyond Korea’s borders.
While the curtains are set to close in November, Purple Kiss is giving fans one last, vivid chapter, which is expected to be an emotional send-off that reflects everything they have stood for over the past five years.
