Shocking footage shows a labor early release prisoner who hailed Sir Keir Starmer back in jail playing table tennis and showing off prison food.

Daniel Dowling-Brooks – who yelled ‘Big up Keir Starmer’ on his early release for a kidnap at gunpoint – is back in prison, illegally using a mobile phone to document his time behind bars on Instagram.

It is unclear what landed the 30-year-old, nicknamed Diggz, back in prison but he risks any chance of early release again after his active Instagram account was flagged to the Ministry of Justice.

In the last few weeks, he gave his followers a glimpse of life in the lag, smoking a suspiciously large cigarette with rap music playing over the clip.

He blows smoke towards the camera and flexes his bicep.

He shows off lag food, including a deconstructed lasagne and a bright purple looking beetroot salad he simply captioned ‘colors’.

Other footage posted showed him playing a very fast game of table tennis against another inmate.

He has a beaming grin on his face and is enjoying the game.

Another clip on the account shows a fellow inmate looking worse for wear. Dowling-Brooks has captioned it ‘siesta’.

He was released after being sentenced to 14 years for holding a teen drug dealer at gunpoint during a 12-hour ordeal in 2017.

The Ministry of Justice has been previously alerted to his social media activity.

He was one of hundreds of criminals released early in October.

He had previously been given a seven-year sentence for kidnapping and grievous bodily harm.

Shocking photos showed him free from HMP Swaleside posing next to a £150,000 Bentley and Mercedes G-Wagon.

A Prison Service spokesperson told Metro: ‘We are aware of these posts and have requested their removal.

‘Any offender caught using a phone or social media in prison will face punishment, which could include additional time behind bars.’
