Knowsley Matalan workers’ strike to enter seventh week as pay dispute rages on
A strike that’s reportedly seen hundreds of Matalan staff take industrial action in a “bitter” dispute over pay is set to enter its seventh week.
Member of the GMB union have been taking part in up to three days of action per week since August – demanding staff at the distribution centre in Knowsley, Merseyside, in a dispute centering around both backpay and the current pay offer.
