Guess the world’s still under its spell and the “Honmoom” will forever be sealed.

The “KPop Demon Hunters” soundtrack has reclaimed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart, marking its second total week atop the list and solidifying its status as one of the most dominant releases of the year.

After first conquering the top spot on the Sept. 20 chart, the soundtrack continues to dominate, spending its 10th consecutive week within the Top 2 and now earning its second total week at No. 1.

According to Luminate, the album pulled in 102,000 equivalent album units in the US for the week ending Oct. 2, dipping just 2 percent from the previous week.

The “KPop Demon Hunters” phenomenon has also leapt from charts to late-night television. On the season premiere of Saturday Night Live, host Bad Bunny starred in a sketch inspired by the film’s fictional girl group, Huntr/x.

Playing a character named Thomas, he confesses his obsession with the movie, which he insists is “based on a true story,” to his skeptical friends. His fantasy sequence comes alive when the actual singers behind Huntr/x, Ejae, Rei Ami and Audrey Nuna, appear in a dreamlike performance.

“If only there were three gorgeous Korean girls who could protect you,” he said.

The cultural grip of “KPop Demon Hunters” goes beyond the charts. The film recently celebrated its 15th consecutive week in Netflix’s Global Top 10 during the Sept. 22–28 viewing window, setting a new record as the longest-running English-language title on the platform.
