Krispy Kreme has issued an urgent recall of its Pitch Perfect and Matchday Dozen doughnuts after they were found to contain an undisclosed allergen.
The football-themed doughnuts were released to celebrate this year’s World Cup, but a batch of them contain hazelnut fillings.
The batches affected are the individual Pitch Perfect Doughnuts, purchased on June 19 or 20.
Also included are the Matchday Dozen 12-pack with a best-before date of June 21 and June 22.

Customers who want to get a refund should include where they bought the product, include a photo and batch number and call or email the company.
In a statement, the company said: ‘Krispy Kreme takes its responsibilities to consumers extremely seriously and always aims to ensure the highest possible standards of product safety.
‘We are sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment this product recall may cause.’
Other companies have released World Cup-themed products to celebrate this year’s competition in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
Walkers is an official sponsor of the tournament and has launched three new flavors in celebration of the event.
These are Walkers English Bangers & Mash, Walkers Wavy Spanish Queso, and Walkers Max Portuguese Chorizo and Onion.
And these aren’t the only new crisps hitting supermarket shelves.
PepsiCo, which owns Walkers, is also introducing World Cup flavors across Doritos and Wotsits too.
The new Doritos are inspired by Mexican Beef Tacos, and the Wotsits Golden Balls are getting a football-shaped makeover, with a Smokin’ Cheese flavor.
