Filipino Broadway star Lea Salonga was an ARMY through and through after attending the Busan leg of BTS’s Arirang World Tour.
In a series of social media posts, Salonga shared snapshots from her trip to South Korea and gave fans a glimpse of her BTS concert experience. She also reflected on her personal intention for the year, linking it to the trip that brought her to Busan.
“I wanted 2026 to be a year lived with joy, so this was definitely on the agenda to achieve that. And this trip to South Korea didn’t disappoint! Sure, there are things specific to the Busan experience that could’ve gone better, but @bts.bighitofficial was amazing and Arirang was a technical and artistic feat,” she shared.
She also took time to acknowledge the scale of the production, praising everyone behind the massive live show. “Kudos to everyone involved in making that gigantic show happen! Shoutout to the dancers, too, who were spectacular!” she added.

Beyond the concert highlights, Salonga expressed deep admiration for BTS not just as performers, but as complete artists.
In a separate interview, she reflected on how the group’s music and presence became a source of comfort and inspiration, especially during a difficult period in the pandemic.
Her comments add to the long list of international artists who have openly expressed admiration for BTS, whose global influence continues to grow across music, performance and culture.
