Lipreader shares unexpected sweet exchange between Donald and Melania Trump

Donald and Melania Trump seem to be living their best couple lives at the moment.

It comes after multiple reports of the First Lady giving her husband ‘frosty death stares’ and pulling her hand away from his during a meeting with King Charles.

But all is now restored in paradise — that’s according to professional lip reader, Nicola Hickling, anyway.

The expert, who regularly unpacks secret royal conversations, zoomed in on a recent private discussion between the US leader and his wife.

While Melania was noticeably absent from the President’s recent trip to China, she supported him at Tuesday’s annual Congressional Picnic at the White House.

She even delivered a speech ahead of her husband, welcoming their guests on ‘this beautiful evening.’

Melania also shared the ‘breaking news’ that ‘the House passed the Fostering the Future Act,’ which aims to improve outcomes for youth ageing out of foster care.

She addressed the crowd on the balcony: ‘I have seen firsthand how much can be accomplished when Republicans and Democrats come together with a shared purpose, particularly for the betterment of our children.’

Melania also said that she believes ‘young Americans deserve every opportunity to learn, grow and succeed.’

‘I believe we will continue making meaningful progress on their behalf,’ she continued.

Following Melania’s speech, the couple briefly exchanged words before the President took to the stand.

Nicola claimed that, after the First Lady stepped down, Trump praised his wife and offered words of reassurance.

‘Wonderful speech, I loved that,’ the POTUS reportedly said, before approaching the microphone.

To the crowd, Trump then said: ‘What a great job, I have to follow that? I hate it! I never like following our great First Lady, because it makes me look not so good.’

Once the President wrapped up his monologue, Nicola pointed out a few other tender exchanges that people may not have noticed.

The lipreader said Trump reportedly asked his wife: ‘Was that good?’ to which she simply replied, ‘Yes.’

Trump then pointed at something out of view as the couple prepared to leave the balcony.

Nicola stated that Melania said, ‘Come on, let’s go downstairs.’

As the couple approached the bottom of the stairs, Nicola said Trump warned Melania to ‘watch the step.’

While this last remark sounds thoughtful enough, it’s actually pretty significant.

It follows Trump’s recent admissions about his own health. Last month, he took aim at former President Joe Biden, who he said ‘couldn’t walk up the stairs.’

Trump, who has famously been a longtime critic of Biden and nicknamed him ‘Sleepy Joe,’ said: ‘Forget about down, he couldn’t walk up a flight. He was falling all over the place.’

The president then admitted that he himself has ‘to be careful.’

He continued: ‘That’s why when I get out of those planes, I walk nice and slowly. I’m not looking to set any speed records.’

Clearly, the same goes for the White House balcony steps, too.
