London markets slip as weaker US sentiment hits European stocks – Aberdeen Evening Express
London markets fell into the red after a poor start to trading in the US weighed on European sentiment.
Dr Anthony Fauci’s warning that it is doubtful that a vaccine will be developed by the end of October has caught the wind in the sails of the bull in the United States and sparked large sales in Europe.
The FTSE 100 closed 90.09 points lower at 5,850.86 late on Thursday.
