London Tube strike enters second day with trains cancelled and misery for commuters

The four-day strike has kicked off again this morning, with trains already being cancelled before the majority of Londoners have woken up.

Tube drivers who are members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT) began their first 24-hour tube strike following a dispute over hours yesterday afternoon.

It means that there’s no service on certain tube lines, while others are having severe delays until 12pm, when the first strike ends.

Other TfL services including Elizabeth line, DLR, London Overground and Trams will be running normally however they are likely to be very busy.
