Major disruption at London station and problems on Tubes this morning

There is ‘major disruption’ on trains to and from London Marylebone this morning after a fault with the signalling system.

All lines in and out of the station are blocked, causing cancellations and 90-minute delays.

It’s impacting Chiltern Railways services between Marylebone and High Wycombe, Birmingham Snow Hill, Oxford, Gerrards Cross, Aylesbury Vale Parkway, and Aylesbury.

The disruption is expected to last throughout the rush hour period.

Meanwhile, a broken down freight train at Harold Wood has closed some lines running between Shenfield and London

Liverpool Street.

It’s impacting Greater Anglia and Elizabeth line services running between the two stations.

And on the Underground, the Piccadilly line is partially closed again between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge after fallen leaves caused ‘difficult track conditions’. Meanwhile there are minor delays on the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly Lines.
