Flooding is still expected across 132 areas, while flooding is possible at another 137 locations. A danger to life warning is active in Northampton due to deep and fast flowing water.

A major incident was declared in Northamptonshire yesterday after River Nene burst its banks, causing flooding along the waterways and evacuation of the Billing Aquadrome holiday park for the fourth time this year.

Residents in Pontypridd, south Wales, face devastated homes after flooding and muddy landslides.
