Cybercriminals have impersonated the popular Bitcoin trading platform BTC ERA in order to infect users of online currency with malware, according to a new study from Abnormal Security.
The cybersecurity firm discovered that malicious actors were sending emails claiming to be from the BTC era and encouraging Bitcoin users to pay for what they believe is an investment.
