The Philippines has once again made its mark on the global music stage as Filipino singer Arabelle Dela Cruz, known in the competition as Laguna Diva, emerged as the grand winner of South Korea’s reality talent show “Veiled Cup.“
Dela Cruz clinched the title after competing against singers from South Korea, Laos and Thailand.
Her victory was determined through a global audience vote, while a panel of judges handled the results during the preliminary and semi-final rounds.

Formerly known as Global Veiled Musician, “Veiled Cup“ brings together contestants from nine countries across four tightly packed episodes. What sets the show apart is that contestants perform without revealing any personal details, including their identities, backgrounds and even appearances.

Dela Cruz went head-to-head with Janine Berdin in the grand finals of “Tawag ng Tanghalan“ Season 2, eventually finishing in the Top 5. Her powerhouse rendition of “Run to You” during the wildcard round earned a standing ovation and remains one of the competition’s most talked-about performances.
’The Clash’ runner-up queen
Before her international win, Dela Cruz built a reputation for finishing as first runner-up for two consecutive seasons in GMA’s “The Clash.“
Sparkle GMA artist
Following her stint on “The Clash,“ the Laguna native officially joined Sparkle GMA, continuing to grow her career under the network’s artist roster.
Business graduate
Beyond the stage, Dela Cruz also reached an academic milestone, graduating from Lyceum of the Philippines University–Laguna in November 2025 with a degree in Business Administration.
