At 29, Cathrina Torres has already built an impressive international modeling career. After moving from Manila to Canada as a teenager, she eventually established herself in London’s fashion scene, where she became known for her expressive high-fashion work.

Cathrina has appeared in Vogue more than once, making her one of the most experienced contestants entering the competition.

Beyond winning challenges, she hopes to use “SupermodelMe” as a platform to showcase the beauty and confidence of Filipinas to a wider audience.

She’s also expecting an emotional ride throughout the season. “There’s a 110% chance I’m gonna cry,” she said in her introductory video.

Habie Mondido

The youngest contestant in the house is Habie Mondido, a 19-year-old Filipino Tunisian model who was born and raised in the Philippines.

Habie’s journey into modeling wasn’t always easy. She previously dealt with childhood bullying and health struggles, but instead of letting those experiences hold her back, she transformed what she once considered insecurities into strengths that helped shape her career.

Despite being the youngest among the competitors, Habie thrives under pressure and is determined to prove that age is just a number when it comes to succeeding in the fashion industry.

Tatyana Austria

Before pursuing modeling full-time, Tatyana Austria balanced several careers. She is a licensed physical therapist, a courtside reporter and was named first runner-up at Miss Eco Teen International 2021 representing the Philippines.

Tatyana describes herself as someone who started out as a “geeky” science scholar before finding confidence in pageantry and modeling. Now stepping onto the “SupermodelMe” runway, she hopes to continue her transformation and prove she belongs among Asia’s next generation of top models.

As “SupermodelMe: Make It or Break It” premieres on Aug. 18, these three Filipina contestants are set to showcase not only their modeling skills but also the diverse stories and determination that brought them to one of Asia’s biggest modeling competitions.
