Meghan Markle has offered fans a ‘hint of what’s coming’ days after it was announced she and Prince Harry would be returning to the UK.
In an unexpected move, the couple are set to make the journey across the pond at the end of August and stay for ‘an extended period’, it was previously reported.
The announcement has sparked questions over what Harry and Meghan will do to earn a living once over here.
The Duchess of Sussex took to her As Ever Instagram page to share a reel hinting at her next product drop.
In the video, the 45-year-old can be seen carrying a basket of apples and plucking fruits from trees.

She wrote: ‘A little hint of what’s coming.’
As Ever is Meghan’s food and homeware brand ‘inspired by her long-lasting love of cooking, entertaining, and hostessing with ease’.
Its products include jams and spreads, wine, candles, tea, and pantry staples.
‘This curated collection has been crafted to elevate your everyday and inspire moments of joy,’ its website states.
As Ever is just one of a number of business and media ventures the couple has launched since they stepped down from royal duties and moved to the US in 2020.
They have released a number of Netflix series and previously had a lucrative deal with Spotify, which came to an end in 2023 when the streaming service and the Duke and Duchess ‘mutually agreed to part ways’.
Harry has also released an autobiography, titled Spare, detailing his life as a member of the Royal Family and his early relationship with Meghan.
Moving to the UK
The couple is expected to keep their £11million home in Montecito, California, while in the UK.
They will live in a non-royal residence and will not return to royal duties.
It is understood that they have already found somewhere to live and school places for their two children, Archie and Lilibet.
Meghan was also reportedly in ‘advanced talks’ to return to acting, with a role in Guy Ritchie’s comedy-drama series, The Gentleman, said to be in the works.
Netflix bosses were thought to be keen to get Meghan back on the small screen.
But the move was thrown into doubt due to ‘public backlash’, royal author Tina Brown – who is a former editor of both Tatler and Vanity Fair and is well-connected in US showbiz circles – has claimed.
She wrote on X: ‘I learned this morning the casting of Meghan in The Gentlemen has been withdrawn.
‘The backlash in the UK was so intense, it became untenable. This does not bode well for Meghan’s acting comeback in the UK.’
