Meghan Markle has shared a wholesome glimpse inside countryside life with her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved back to the UK in late August, six years after stepping back from Royal Family duties and relocating to the US.

Now, the family of four lives in a private, non-royal residence outside of London, but they’ve kept their homes in California and Portugal.

Archie, seven, and Lili, five, have started new schools and seem to be taking the big move in their stride.

Taking to her Instagram Story on Sunday, Meghan posted a sweet video of the children on a walk.

The prince was riding a scooter while his little sister walked alongside him, with a herd of deer visible in the background.

Also in the clip, which featured the song My Girl by The Temptations, was the Sussexes’ Labrador, Pula.

Last month, Harry commented on their shock return, telling CTV: ‘The kids are happy in school.

‘It’s been great to be back on British soil.’

He said similar at an Invictus gala, telling Hello! Magazine: ‘The last two weeks have been… It’s been eventful. But, you know, we’re getting stuck into the work. Kids are in school. We’re happy.’

Indeed, their move hasn’t been without hiccups, as Archie and Lili had to be taken out of their first school due to security concerns about their commute. Meghan’s phone number was also leaked after she joined a parents’ WhatsApp group.

The Sussexes’ spat with Buckingham Palace about their status and security detail has been highly publicised as they settle into the Cotswolds.

Last month, a letter sent on the King’s instruction insisted that Harry and Meghan should be viewed as ‘private citizens’ on their return, which ‘surprised’ the couple.

It’s said the now non-working royals were given little notice of the notice sent to government departments and the military on the monarch’s behalf.

Harry and Meghan lost their taxpayer-funded security when they gave up their royal duties in 2020.

Still, they’ve been portraying nothing but domesticated bliss online, sharing various snaps from their new chapter.

At the weekend, Meghan also shared a picture alongside Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai having afternoon tea to mark the International Day of the Girl.

In the caption, she said the net proceeds from sales of jams and teas from her lifestyle brand As Ever, on the day, October 11, would be sent to support the Malala Fund, a non-profit advocating for girls’ education.

The former Suits actress also launched a sweatshirt in collaboration with Moms Offering More, with the proceeds going towards organisations supporting mothers.

And on Thursday, Harry and Meghan will visit Nottingham for their first royal-style engagement together since coming back.

Nottingham reportedly holds a special place for the couple, who made their first joint appearance there after announcing their engagement in 2017, and the itinerary appears to resemble the kind of visits they used to make.

They are expected to visit several organisations, including a community recording studio where Harry visited in 2025.
