More than 500 children admitted to hospital with Covid in Christmas week

A total of 512 children were admitted to England’s hospitals with Covid in the week up to Boxing Day, new figures reveal.
Government data also shows 59 under-fives infected with the virus were hospitalised in a 24-hour period between Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
