Anti-monarchists plot protest over King Charles’s visit to Cardiff today

A protest against the monarchy has been planned to coincide with Charles III’s first visit to Wales as King.
The new monarch has been busy touring different parts of the UK since the death of the Queen last week.
The demonstration, which will be silent, will take place outside Cardiff Castle at 1pm.
