Multiple lorries and trailers on fire in massive blaze near harbour

A major fire has broken out near Methil Harbour in Fife, with multiple lorries and trailers on fire sending up plumes of black smoke.

Scottish Fire and Rescue said: ‘Crews are attending a fire affecting HGVs at Methil Harbour.

‘There are seven fire appliances at the scene.

‘Due to heavy smoke, we advise people to avoid the area, and residents to keep their windows and doors closed as a precaution.’
