Several people have been injured in a mass shooting at a resort in Reno, Nevada.
A shooter opened fire at Grand Sierra Resort shortly before 7.30am on Monday, according to the Reno Police Department.
Police officers spotted a suspect four to five minutes after arriving at the scene.
Officers shot the suspect in the valet area of the resort and he was transported to a hospital.
His condition and identity were not immediately released.
Several people suffered injuries of varying levels and authorities were working to figure out exactly how many were hurt, News 4
reported.Some of the victims transported themselves to hospitals.
A few officers were also injured but not by bullets.
Police said there was no longer a threat to the community.
