The bodies of a young girl and a man have been discovered at a flat in Dublin.
Police are investigating the deaths at the Heathfield estate in the Cappagh area of Finglas after the discovery was made on Saturday.
The girl, believed to be aged six, was regularly seen at the playground opposite the flat where she was found dead by a relative.
The family, originally from Poland, had been living in Heathfield estate for some time, the Irish Examiner
Ballymun-Finglas councillor Conor Reddy sent his condolences to the loved ones of those involved.

He said: ‘It’s so tragic for the community. The neighborhood is shocked to its core. My condolences to the family and loved ones.’
On Sunday, a large police presence was seen outside the property within the housing estate, including plain-clothed detectives and forensic officers.
One officer was spotted carrying large bolt cutters into the house on Sunday morning, as various bags were removed by forensics.
A gardai spokesperson said: ‘The coroner has been notified and the services of the Office of the State Pathologist have been requested.
‘Post-mortem examinations will be arranged in due course.
‘The results of these examinations will assist gardai in determining the course of the investigation.’
