Sneak peak: Episodes 1 and 2

The first episode, titled “A 500 Year Affair,” tackles Spain’s influence on the Philippines. It tours places like Intramuros and Vigan City, and explores Zamboanga City’s Chavacano language as a bridge between the two countries.

The second episode, “The American Dream,” covers the Philippines’ history with the US. The episode travels to Bataan, Palawan and a former American military base in Clark, as it takes an emotional look at monuments of war.
