New plan emerges for prime Newcastle development site
New plans have emerged for a Newcastle development site after North East developers were appointed as preferred bidders.
The former council nursery site in Newcastle was put up for auction in 2016 when the city council stopped using the plot.
Plans for luxury retirement homes were unveiled in 2017 after developers PegasusLife offered around £9m for the cleared patch of land.
