Shoppers have been told to urgently stop wearing a pair of Next sandals, as they pose a potential ‘injury risk’.
An urgent recall has been issued for the Mint Velvet Raya Espadrille Wedge Sandal because the product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
It was found that the trendy sandals present an ‘injury risk’ because the footbed of the shoe can become dislodged from the wedge heel.
If the footbed of the shoe were to become dislodged during use, the wearer could fall over and injure themselves.
In light of this, the footwear has been recalled from shoppers by fashion brand Next, and anyone who bought the sandals is being urged to ‘stop using them’.
