Some NHS staff – including nurses, midwives, paramedics, porters and cleaners – are getting a pay rise.
The lowest earners will be getting a 9.3% uplift in their salary, while eligible doctors and dentists are to receive a 4.5% pay bump. Newly-qualified nurses will receive a 5.5% rise.
