MARINA DEL REY, Calif. – Actress Kim Delaney of “NYPD Blue” fame was facing a possible assault charge Monday, March 31, with her partner potentially facing spousal battery charges, following their arrests in the Marina del Rey area in Los Angeles County.
Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Marina del Rey station responded to a domestic disturbance report at Delaney’s residence shortly before 10 a.m. Saturday, according to the department.

After an investigation, Delaney was arrested on suspicion of assault and her partner, James Morgan, was arrested on suspicion of spousal battery, a representative for the sheriff’s station told City News Service.

Later in the day, Morgan bailed out on a $20,000 bond. Delaney was still in custody as of Monday, according to jail records.
Both Delaney and Morgan were tentatively scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
Last October, Delaney celebrated their second wedding anniversary, writing in an Instagram post, “Great memories! I love you, hubby-your wife for life.”
