Filipino American pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo has recently closed out a significant chapter in her career, finishing her European festival run and nearing the final leg of her globally acclaimed “GUTS” World Tour.

While Rodrigo’s performances have consistently drawn crowds, it was her final weekend of the “GUTS” tour that stirred the most nostalgia. In what she called a full-circle moment, Rodrigo performed with the iconic rock band Weezer, who happened to be the first act she ever saw live in concert.
“My first concert and my last weekend of the GUTS tour. thank u to everyone who came out and thank u [Weezer] for still making me this excited all these years later!!! cannot believe how lucky I am to be able to play these shows with yall!!!!” she wrote.
Weezer returned the love in the comments, calling it a “full circle moment and an absolute honor.”

The end of her festival run included standout appearances at major stages like New York’s Governor’s Ball and Chicago’s Lollapalooza. But it was the Osheaga Festival in Montreal on Aug. 3 that officially capped it all off.
While the “Drivers License” hitmaker has stayed relatively mum about new material, she finally gave fans a reason to buzz. Rodrigo stepped on stage wearing a red t-shirt with a bold number “3” emblazoned on it, prompting fans to speculate if it was a cheeky teaser for her third studio album.
This is something supporters have been waiting on since “GUTS” dropped in 2023.
As she bids farewell to the “GUTS” era, all eyes are now on what Rodrigo has in store next.
