Choosing between two favorite artists is one of the biggest headaches of any music festival, but Filipino American singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields Festival is taking that problem off the table.

The inaugural event, scheduled for Aug. 29 at Great Park in Irvine, California, will feature two stages. However, unlike many multi-stage festivals, its performers will not compete for the same audience at the same time.

Daisy Chain Fields will alternate sets between its Dandelion and Marigold stages, allowing concertgoers to watch every act on the bill without having to pick one performance over another.

Women-led, female-fronted acts

Rodrigo will share the festival with an eclectic group of women-led and female-fronted acts, including Chappell Roan, Doechii, Mitski, Katseye, The Breeders, Bikini Kill, Garbage, Santigold, Rachel Chinouriri, Die Spitz, Eli, Quiet Light and Not for Radio.

The bill also reaches across generations, with legendary performers Stevie Nicks and Sarah McLachlan joining the event as special guests alongside Karen O.

Daisy Chain Fields gives audiences the rare opportunity to see every act on the lineup in a single day.

But the festival is not only built around music. Daisy Chain Fields will also serve a charitable purpose, with 100 percent of its net proceeds benefiting reproductive rights organizations, including Planned Parenthood and the Center for Reproductive Rights.
