OPEC + must correct daily oversupply of over 2 million barrels
MOSCOW / DUBAI / LONDON: Some members of the OPEC + group from oil-producing countries are expected to cut production by an additional 2.31 million barrels per day (bpd) to make up for their recent oversupply, according to an internal OPEC + report seen by Reuters.
The surplus observed between May and July is expected to be offset in August and September, according to the report.
