A crash on the M25 has caused 17 miles of congestion on the motorway in Surrey.
A lane on Junction 9 has been blocked near Leatherhead after a vehicle overturned around 7.30am.
Traffic was held for around 20 minutes and delays of two hours are affecting scores of drivers.
In its latest update from 8.30am, traffic monitoring site Inrix said: ‘Severe delays and two lanes closed due to recovery work and earlier overturned vehicle on M25 clockwise before J9 A243 (Leatherhead).

‘Congestion to Clacket Lane Services, halfway back to J5 M26 (17 miles). Still in lanes three and four (of four) after a 20 minute hold at 07:35.’
Traffic has spread all the way back towards J5 (Sevenoaks) on the M25 anticlockwise.
There are also two-hour delays being reported from J9 (Leatherhead) all the way back to J6 (Godstone).
Two lanes (of four) remain closed on the M25 clockwise between J8 (Redhill) and J9 (Leatherhead).
It is not yet known how many vehicles are involved or if any injuries have been reported.
