Parkside Colliery regeneration plans called in by UK Government
Plans to turn the former Parkside Colliery in Newton-le-Willows on Merseyside into a major employment site – paving the way for almost 1,800 new jobs – have been called in by the UK Government.
Communities Secretary Robert Jenrick has written to St Helens Council informing it that he has called in two applications relating to the former colliery for a public inquiry.
