On August 18, 2020, the Bitcoin ABC development team announced a ‘feature freeze’ which will include a new infrastructure finance plan (IFP) and a week later explained that it was also in the process of launch a “governance council”. Despite recent announcements, Bitcoin ABC has lost considerable support and it looks like the project will part ways with Bitcoin Cash on November 15th.
