Rishi Sunak reverses Liz Truss’s decision on fracking saying ban will stay

New prime minister Rishi Sunak has indicated that he will keep the ban on fracking, saying he will uphold the 2019 manifesto pledge on fracking.
Speaking in PMQs today, he said he ‘stood by’ the moratorium introduced by Boris Johnson – despite last week’s PM Liz Truss planning to scrap it.
