Sacha Lord welcomes business rates cuts – but says ‘we need to go further’ to support night time economy

Sacha Lord, the night time economy adviser for Greater Manchester, has said business rates cuts are a “positive move” – but more is needed to support the night time economy.

It comes after the Treasury announced plans to slash business rates by £1,000 for small pubs in a move that it claimed could benefit up to 18,000 pubs across the UK.
