SB19 continued to raise the Philippine flag on the global stage as the P-pop supergroup became the first all-Filipino act to perform at Lollapalooza.

The quintet delivered a one-hour, 10-song set at Chicago’s Allianz Stage, treating festivalgoers to career-defining performances, surprise collaborations and proud Filipino moments.

Here are five highlights from SB19’s landmark appearance at one of the world’s biggest music festivals.

1. Powerful opening statement

SB19 wasted no time making a statement. Before launching into their opening songs, the group proudly declared, “From the Philippines to the world.”

The message set the tone for the rest of the performance as the members kicked off their set with Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart-topper “DAM” before seamlessly transitioning into their viral hit “Gento.”

2. ‘LAWLESS’ makes its live debut

One of the biggest surprises of the night came with the first-ever live performance of “LAWLESS.”

The track was officially released on digital platforms at midnight Philippine time on July 31, only a few hours before SB19 stepped onto the Lollapalooza stage. Instead of waiting for a concert tour, the group chose one of the world’s biggest festivals to introduce the song live.

3. ‘Mga Kababayan!’

SB19 also brought Filipino music history to Chicago by performing a high-energy preview of “Mga Kababayan,” the iconic song by the late Master Rapper Francis Magalona.

The track serves as part of the official soundtrack for DreamWorks Animation’s upcoming film Forgotten Island, which is set for a worldwide theatrical release in September 2026.

4. Benny the Bull joins the party onstage

Chicago got its own special moment during SB19’s performance of “Dungka.”

The members were joined by Benny the Bull, the Chicago Bulls’ mascot, who danced alongside the group onstage and added even more excitement to the festival set. Benny also appeared with SB19 in an Instagram video where they took on the “LAWLESS” dance challenge.

5. A’TIN fans celebrate together across the Philippines

While thousands watched live in Chicago, Filipino fans gathered across the country to witness the historic performance together.

A’TIN flocked to organized watch parties at Rizal Park in Manila, SMX Convention Center Pampanga, Bacolod City Government Center and Royal Mandaya Hotel in Davao for free live simulcasts.

Organized by the Department of Tourism together with SB19’s brand partners, the events transformed the group’s Lollapalooza debut into a nationwide celebration.
