Seagull called Christmas released back into wild after huge tumour removed from eye

A young seagull was released back into the wild on Christmas Day after a tumour the size of a satsuma was removed from his eye.
The bird has been named ‘Christmas’ after being nursed back to health over the festive period.
But it’s uncertain how long he will live after tests…
