Severe rush hour delays on Elizabeth line between Paddington and Heathrow after fault

Commuters have been left battling severe delays on the Elizabeth Line to Heathrow Airport.

Transport for London confirmed a Network Rail track fault at Hanwell has caused delays between Paddington and Heathrow Airport and Reading.

Elizabeth Line ticket holders were told they will be accepted on the rest of the London Underground.

The rest of the line has good service, a TfL travel status update shows.

Elsewhere, Central line service is suspended between Leytonstone and Epping and between Hainault and Woodford due to a trespasser on the track.

The Bakerloo line is also seeing minor delays.
