“The Voice” champion Sofronio Vasquez is making the holiday season even brighter with not one but two major Christmas releases, each tied to global music heavyweights.
Alongside his collaboration with his coach Michael Bublé in “Maybe This Christmas,” the trailblazing Filipino singer unveils his rendition of “Grown-Up Christmas List,” produced by legendary hitmaker David Foster.

The classic holiday ballad, originally written by Foster and Linda Thompson-Jenner, is known for its gentle plea for peace, unity and compassion.

In an Instagram post celebrating the release, he shared his gratitude for the unlikely chain of events that made the collaboration possible. “Yes, it’s on our LIST this Holidays! @michaelbuble made this collaboration possible. What an opportunity and gift it is to be working with the multi Grammy Award winner and hitmaker,” he wrote.
Reflecting on how far his journey has taken him, Vasquez also revisited the first time he realized he would be working with Bublé on a Christmas record.
“I wouldn’t have believed you if you told me five years ago that I would be doing a record with Michael Bublé in 2025 for Christmas,” he shared. “He didn’t just give me a shot, he gave his time, his wisdom and his voice.”
The Christmas releases serve as a preview of what lies ahead for Vasquez in 2025. The singer previously revealed that he is currently working on an extended play produced by Bublé, featuring collaborations with iconic artists Paul Anka and David Foster.
Vasquez first captured global attention last year when he made history as the first Asian champion of “The Voice.”
