Storm Bert back for more after leaving three killed and thousands without power
Carnage from Storm Bert yesterday with downed trees and stranded motorists

Storm Bert is forecast to be as strong today as it was yesterday, when it left a trail of destruction in the UK, including at least three fatalities.

Three men died on the roads yesterday while tens of thousands of homes were left without power in the 70mph winds.

Five children, as well as five adults, were trapped in a landslide in Wales before they were rescued and taken to recover ‘somewhere warm’, but the storm proved deadly elsewhere, with ‘danger to life’ weather warnings still in force.
