Subsea specialist DeepOcean opens second North East base after growing sales to £156m
North East cable and trenching business DeepOcean committed itself to a new offshore facility in Blyth following a year in which turnover grew to £156m.
DeepOcean, which now has bases in Darlington and Blyth, has published accounts for 2018, showing a rise in sales from £152.5m to £156.4m.
However, the firm’s losses widened from 2017’s £670,000 to £4.9m.
