Pop superstar Taylor Swift announced that the “Eras Tour” behind-the-scenes docuseries, titled “The End of an Era,” is coming to Disney+ on Dec. 12.
The first two episodes of the six-part series will be released simultaneously with the concert film, “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour: The Final Show,” Swift’s last performance in the groundbreaking world tour filmed in Vancouver, Canada.
Swift made the two-part announcement on Oct. 13 on ABC’s “Good Morning America” and on social media.

“It was the End of an Era and we knew it,” she writes. “We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination [so] we allowed filmmakers to capture [all] the stories woven throughout it as it wound down. And to film the final show in its entirety.”
The concert film will feature the entire “Tortured Poets Department” set, a studio album released while the tour was ongoing.
Then, two new episodes of “The End of an Era” docuseries will air weekly for the next two weeks.
Swift’s announcement of the docuseries about her record-breaking tour comes on the heels of the October release of her record-breaking album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”
Despite divisive critical reception, the “Showgirl” album is yet another overwhelming commercial success that saw the superstar break multiple records she herself set with her previous album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”
